House Introduces Bill to Continue Medicaid NEMT Provision

ANCOR is pleased to announce that the U.S. House of Representatives has introduced legislation, H.R. 3935, to require Medicaid to continue to provide for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). People with disabilities have less access to proper healthcare than their peers without disabilities and NEMT benefits are an important way for the disability community to access healthcare. The majority of disability supports in the United States are funded by Medicaid. ANCOR will keep members informed of opportunities for action on this issue as they arise.
