Summary
As the Human Resources Manager at Emory Valley Center, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and fostering a supportive environment for our employees. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including a dedicated team of HR professionals, talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, HR programs, benefits, performance management, and compliance.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
HR related certification from an endorsed organization (i.e., safety/OSHA 30, benefit/CEBS, or human resources/PHR, CP), or the ability to obtain.
Minimum of 4 years of relative HR experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Proven experience in human resources management, preferably within a nonprofit setting.
Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
Experience with HR software systems; familiarity with Workable and PHS is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff at all levels.
Project management experience is beneficial but not required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer HR strategies to ensure they are aligned with the organization’s mission.
Oversee the HR Operations and provide staff supervision and guidance.
Administer the recruitment process and the worker’s compensation program.
Develop robust training and development programs.
Oversee employee benefits and department programs.
Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations.
Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to staff.
Assist with developing employee training programs and orientation sessions.
Maintain all HR software systems to ensure accurate employee data management.
Monitor performance management processes to ensure effective employee evaluations.
