The U.S. Department of Labor announced that it will present a virtual compliance seminar to provide information on Executive Order 14026, “Increasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors.” The seminar is intended to benefit stakeholders including contracting agencies, contractors, unions, and workers.

Executive Order 14026 increases the minimum wage to $15/hour for work completed in connection with a federal contract beginning on January 30. The Executive Order also explicitly ensures workers with disabilities performing work on, or in connection with federal contracts receive a $15 minimum wage.

The seminar will be pre-recorded but will also feature a live Question and Answer session. The seminar is available to view on January 26 and alternatively on January 27. To join the seminar, register online.
