Congrats to Advocates on DOL Overtime Rule Outreach!

We wish to extend a huge thank you to the 356 advocates who used our action tool to let the Department of Labor (DOL) know that its proposed overtime rule needs to reflect the realities of fixed Medicaid payment rates. In a single day last week, the 356 advocates submitted pre-written comments asking DOL to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to ensure that DOL understands the unique funding environment disability supports operates in, as it works to finalize its overtime rule. ANCOR further elaborated on this message in greater depth in our formal comments, which other national disability organizations validated through their comments.

We will keep members informed of the latest developments of this issue including when the final rule is published, as well as translate what the rule means in terms of implementation.
