The Senate Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over Supreme Court nominations, just released its full agenda for the confirmation hearing on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court Justice. The full agenda, available here, lists a disability advocate as one of the witnesses – Elizabeth “Liz” Weintraub, Disability Specialist at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). According to Politico Pro’s calendar, the five panels in the hearing will be held over three days.

ANCOR has expressed concern over the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh because of a problematic decision he wrote with implications for the self-direction of people with I/DD. ANCOR has asked the Judiciary Committee to ask questions on this decision during the hearing.
