Congress Still Figuring out How to Distribute Funds from Budget Deal

According to a snippet from Politico Pro:

“House and Senate spending leaders are racing to divvy up the giant funding pot, H.R. 1892 (115), passed by Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump last week. Appropriations leaders are aiming for a final breakdown for each of the 12 subcommittees by the end of [the week of February 12], according to a senior GOP aide — compressing the usual timeline by several days, if not weeks. […]

Now, appropriators have five weeks to finish several months’ work, including dividing up the numbers, drafting the bills, negotiating with their opposing parties and running the final product past leadership.”
