In recent decades, countless dedicated, passionate and committed individuals have founded many community organizations that serve people with disabilities. While some organizations still exist years later with a strong message, history, and passion, some business traditions are less relevant than they once were, and business practices and legal requirements have changed. Years after their founding, many organizations need to be faster to adapt.
Participants in this webinar will learn from one such organization that realized its initial approach and practices were no longer viable to its growing business. In this session, presenters will examine a North Dakota provider’s approach to strengthening the organization with better business practices and dedicated staff development to create an environment of greater accountability and respect. Presenters will demonstrate how this, in turn, made a desirable work experience for the organization’s employees and an even better experience for those they serve.
After attending this webinar, participants will leave with practical tools and resources that offer organizational practices that can be used as building blocks for success and can catapult your organization forward in changing your culture to provide excellent services to people with disabilities and truly becoming an employer of choice.
A recording will be made available for registrants.
