Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities (CCD) Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Task Force sent a letter on July 9th, 2024 ahead of a Committee markup in support of H.R. 2941.

Earlier this year, the Senate passed its version of the Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals act, S. 1332, which ensures that when the Office of Management and Budget revises the standard occupational classification system, it considers the importance of a code for DSPs.

Now that H.R. 2941 is scheduled for a markup in this Committee, the LTSS taskforce wrote to Chair Foxx and Ranking Member Scott of the Education and Workforce Committee to ask that they support its passage.
