ANCOR is aware that Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta has been interested in hearing feedback on the 14(c) wage program in order to inform input to Congress on the program’s future.  We were notified that listening sessions would be held to gather this feedback – ANCOR will be attending the session occurring in Washington, D.C. on April 29 and will keep members posted of the sessions around the country and online as they are announced.

From Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy:

“The Office of Disability Employment Policy will be holding listening sessions on issues and perspectives regarding Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)— and we’d like to hear from you. Please reserve April 29 for the first listening session. In addition to this meeting, ODEP will conduct two additional in person listening sessions in other cities and a virtual online dialogue to gather more information and perspectives from members of the public and organizations impacted by the law.
