ANCOR Sends Letter to CMS Requesting Immediate Attention to EVV Implementation

On May 22, 2018, ANCOR sent a letter to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Seema Verma requesting her immediate attention to the implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).

ANCOR’s letter to Administrator Verma states: “ANCOR’s concerns revolve around the intent of the law, the timeline for implementation, privacy of beneficiaries, and the lack of public input and participation. We firmly support CMS and legislative action to clarify the intent of Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act, delay implementation, and provide reassurance that privacy and public input concerns are duly incorporated into the process.”

This letter is the next step in ongoing discussions ANCOR is having with CMS on EVV as part of our multi-pronged advocacy on the topic.
