ANCOR Joins Letter to Congress on DD Program Funding

On April 4, ANCOR joined the DD Task Force of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities to urge Congress to fund the Developmental Disabilities Act programs that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the country.  Specificlly, the request was for level funding for Fiscal Year 2019 of $76,000,000 for the State Councils on Developmental Disabilities (DD Councils), $42,000,000 for the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (PADD) program run by Protection and Advocacy (P&A) agencies, $43,500,000 for the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDDs), and $12,000,000 for the Administration on Community Living (ACL)/Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD) Projects of National Significance (PNS).
