The Service Design and Rate Specialist, oversees the Community Residential Setting (CRS) rate setting and contract management to sustain high-quality services and ensure resource availability. Working closely with regional directors and finance teams, this role involves service agreement verification, rate exception management, and project leadership. Your focus will be to enhance operational efficiency, streamline financial tracking, and provide innovative, sustainable supports for people with complex needs.

Salary: $73,000-83,000/year

Qualifications

4 years of experience in contract management, financial analysis, or program coordination.

Knowledge of CRS/HCBS (245D), person-centered practices, positive supports, trauma-informed care, and DWRS.

Organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in financial tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

*Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a liaison between internal teams to develop processes in partnership with service leaders. Support regional directors to customize supports and secure accurate contracts.

*CRS Rate and Contract Management:
-Contract Management: Oversee CRS 6790 submissions, budgeting, and
contract renewals. Support accurate contract tracking processes and assist
with CRS budget planning and financial analysis.

-Rate Exception Request Forms (RERF): Partner with regional directors to
manage rate exceptions. Develop processes for rate adjustments, service
costing, and budgeting tools to support decision-making.

*Project Management: Coordinate action plans based on financial data. Conduct trend analysis and implement solutions for underperforming programs. Support implementation processes for training and wages related to rate exceptions.
-Housing Support: Redesign systems for tracking MA renewals, housing
support, and room and board balances.
