The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) will host a webinar on November 7, focusing on improving care integration for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. With over 12 million people in the U.S. navigating the complexities of both programs, this population faces unique challenges due to complex health and social needs. The webinar will share practical lessons from California, Iowa, and Tennessee on how state Medicaid agencies are advancing integrated care models to address these challenges.

Panelists from these states, who have participated in the CHCS-led Medicare Academy, will discuss how they are enhancing their understanding of Medicare policies to support integrated care initiatives. The webinar will also address building state capacity to oversee integrated programs, advance health equity, and adapt to Medicare’s evolving regulations.
