Upcoming HCBS Settings Rule Webinar on December 14

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL) announced a new webinar called HCBS Settings Rule: Getting the Services You Need from the Waiver to take place on Wednesday, December 14 from 12:30-2 pm EST. The webinar features speakers from ACL and Laura Miller, Managing Attorney for Equip for Equality.

The webinar is described by ACL as “provid[ing] insight into one of the main strategies stakeholders can use to get the promise of the Rule into real everyday life: influencing the services that are included in the waiver application.” The webinar will highlight the waiver application process and best practices for commenting on states’ waiver applications.
