Reminder: June 26 is ANCOR’s Digital Lobby Day on EVV, MFP and Workforce Crisis

As shared in the ANCOR Connected Communities (ACC) Forum on Friday and Monday morning, June 26th will be ANCOR’s Digital Lobby Day! Summer is a good time for providers to take pro-active steps to inform Congress of ANCOR’s key policy issues, as in a few weeks the U.S. House of Representatives will be in recess for the month of August. By using social media, emails and phone calls from the comfort of your home and office on June 26th, you will lay foundations you can build upon with in-person meetings and site visits in August.

We made it easy for you by preparing 1-pagers, sample social media and, in some cases, action tools on the following three important issues:

  • Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). With HR 6042 passing the House, we must carry our momentum over to the Senate.
  • Money Follows the Person (MFP). Interest in the program has rekindled in Congress, so now is a good time to push for its renewal.
  • The Workforce Crisis. ANCOR has laid out a series of proposals to address the workforce crisis which have the potential to gain traction in Congress, particular if constituents such as yourself as for them.

Please pick any one of the topics above – or if you have a bit of extra time, all three – and contact your members of Congress to ask for their support. You will find Congressional staff contact information on our Digital Lobby Day page.

If you do not know who your members of Congress are, please use our “Find Your Elected Offical” tool, available in the right-side toolbar of our ANCOR Amplifier page.

If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Doris Parfaite-Claude, Federal Advocacy and Research Manager at [email protected].
