Key Democratic Members of Congress send CMS Letter Over Iowa Sec. 1115 Waiver Concerns

U.S. Senator Wyden (D-OR) and U.S. Representative Pallone (D-NJ) sent a letter last week to Administrator Seema Verma of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to express concerns over her approval of an amendment to Iowa’s Section 1115 waiver. This amendment would eliminate Medicaid’s guarantee of retroactive coverage, affecting the elderly and people with disabilities.
