CQL and ANCOR Team Up to Provide Members Discounts on CQL Products and Services

The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) and CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership are partnering to enhance the quality of supports provided by human service organizations, and the quality of life for people receiving those supports. This new collaboration provides ANCOR members with a 10% discount on core CQL services, including CQL Accreditation, CQL Training, and CQL Certification. In addition to core services, this partnership also offers organizations a 10% discount on customized consultation.

“We take our mission seriously, which is to advance the ability of our members in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fully participate in their communities,” says Barbara Merrill, CEO of ANCOR. “Our partnership with CQL provides members with affordable access to quality tools and resources that will assist them in that work.”

ANCOR members across the country will be able to access select CQL offerings at a discounted cost. ANCOR members can also identify a topic area specific to their unique needs, and CQL will conduct in-person training or technical assistance to guide the organization in their efforts. These various services can be used either independently or in conjunction to promote organizational transformation, and more importantly, help people receiving supports to attain their individually-defined outcomes. In addition to these reduced-rate membership benefits, ANCOR and CQL will co-host webinars throughout the year, covering critical and timely topics of significant interest to the human services field.

“There are hundreds of human service organizations throughout the nation and even around the world who rely on CQL and partner with us to embrace best practices and promote person-centeredness,” says Mary Kay Rizzolo, President and Chief Executive Officer of CQL. “It’s a source of great pride that we can work with our longtime friends at ANCOR on this membership discount.”

Through CQL Accreditation, organizations will utilize a proven framework for quality enhancement through planning meetings, self-assessments, interviews, on-site visits, focus groups, stakeholder events, data analysis, and ongoing partnership. CQL Training offers organizations on-site workshops for professional development, covering more than a dozen different topics. By achieving CQL Certification, agency staff are equipped with the skills to discover what really matters to the people they support, and then use that information for planning purposes.
