University College of Dublin Seeking Responses for International Survey of Caregivers of People with Disabilities

We are sharing information on a survey by the University College of Dublin for our members to share with their networks. As announced by Inclusion International:

“The survey a joint project from a number of researchers led by a team University College Dublin. It is not run by Inclusion International, but we are supporting with distribution of the survey because the research team will be working with our Empower Us Global Team to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities play a key role in co-developing the recommendations that come from the data.

Unlike the survey II previously circulated, this survey targets individuals as respondents, not organizations. If you are able to share the survey with family members or support workers that you are connected with, this is the link to access the survey. You will find a separate link for each eligible country there, and it is available in local languages for all eligible countries. The survey is open until September 27th.

We are hoping that this survey and the process of co-developing recommendations with self-advocates will be a good opportunity to demonstrate good practice for engaging people with intellectual disabilities in research.”
