House Passes COVID-19 Bill with Increased HCBS Funding – Ask the Senate to Do the Same

In an important step towards victory for disability advocates, on Saturday the House voted to 219 to 212 to pass a COVID-19 relief package which includes a temporary, 7.35 percent federal medical assistance percentage (FMAP) increase specifically targeted to the Home and Community Based Services (HBCS) program. As the Senate considers the bill through the reconciliation process, we need you to keep the pressure on the Senate to ensure it keeps this important provision in its final COVID-19 relief package.
