The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, announced on Thursday that it will begin distributing $560 million in Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 4 General Distribution payments. These payments will benefit more than 4,100 providers across the country.

The Phase 4 PRF payments have focused more on equity, including reimbursing a higher percentage of losses for smaller providers, and have allowed for bonus payments for providers who serve Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program, and Medicare beneficiaries.

Approximately 86% of all Phase 4 applications have now been processed. In total, nearly $11.5 billion in PRF Phase 4 payments have now been distributed to more than 78,000 providers in all 50 states, Washington, DC, and five territories. For more information, see the state-by-state breakdown.
