RAISE Family Caregivers Act Passes Senate

The RAISE Family Caregivers Act (H.R. 3758), which ANCOR was a lead advocate for since its introduction, passed the Senate last week after passing the U.S. House in late December. The bill would establish a national, coordinated strategy and advisory council to support family caregivers, including a strategy for training and other such supports. Since the bill has already passed the House in the 115^th Congress, it is now headed to the President’s desk for his signature, after which it will become law.
