On July 6, the Department of Labor (DOL) issued a notice of proposed rulemaking that will have a significant impact on providers of disability services. The new rule proposes to more than double the threshold for overtime exemptions available for front-line supervisors and other employees of provider agencies. The clock is ticking for providers to assess the impact and make changes to come into compliance before the rule is finalized, expected in mid-2016!
ANCOR’s Director of Public Policy Katherine Berland will explain the changes proposed, discuss the latest on how providers are responding, and offer solutions for compliance with evolving wage and hour law.
