Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP), MA. Gary Blumenthal, CEO of the Massachusetts based Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP) for 10 years left ADDP in August. Gary also served as a member of the presidentially appointed and U.S Senate confirmed National Council on Disability while at ADDP. He previously Executive Director of the President’s Committee on intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, appointed by President Bill Clinton and also a former 11-year member of the Kansas House of Representatives. Gary has accepted a position with another ANCOR State Association, located in Pennsylvania PAR, (Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability). Gary was hired as Vice President, Strategic and Special Projects. Gary and his family relocated to central PA in September.

ANCOR Election Results

The Leadership Development Committee recently held the elections. ANCOR is fortunate to have such committed volunteers!

Elected by Full Members to the ANCOR Board of Directors (3 year term):

Diane Beastrom – Diane was re-elected to her second term on the BOD. She is President & CEO, Koinonia Homes, Independence OH.

 

 

Sarah Magazine – Sarah was re-elected for her second term on the BOD. She is Vice President, External Affairs, The MENTOR Network, Boston, MA.

 

 

Stan Soby – Stan was re-elected to his second term on the BOD. He is Vice President, Public Policy and External Affairs, Oak Hill,Hartford, CT.

 

 

Elected by Full Members to the Leadership Development Committee (2 year term):

Heidi Mansir – Heidi was elected to her second term on the LDC. She also serves on the BOD and is Executive Director, Uplift, Inc., Gardiner, ME.

 

 

Elected by the State Association Executives to the ANCOR Board of Director (3 year term):

Donna  Martin – Donna was elected for her first term as the SAE/Director. She is the Executive Director, Community Provider Network of RI, Warwick, RI. Donna was elected to the seat previously held for two terms by Mark Davis, CEO, OPRA.

 

Elected by the ANCOR Board of Representatives to the Leadership Development Committee (2 year term):

Greg Wellems – Greg is one of the BORs from Colorado. He previously served on the BOD. Greg is COO and Director of Business Development for Imagine!, Lafayette, CO

 

 

Elected by the ANCOR Board of Directors to the Leadership Development Committee (2 year term):

Stan Soby – Stan was re-elected to this position. He has been on the committee since 2014. As noted above, he is Vice President, Public Policy and External Affairs for Oak Hill, Hartford, CT.

Julie Manworren – Julie was elected to this first term on the LDC.  She also serves on the BOD and is CEO of Living Well Disability Services, Mendota Heights, MN.
