TAC Releases New Resources to Address Homelessness

December 19, 2014
The Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) has developed a new brief, "Housing Choice Vouchers Targeted to Non-Elderly Persons with Disabilities - Another Tool to Help End Homelessness," which provides detailed information about these special purpose vouchers, as well as strategies for engaging PHAs in using these vouchers for homeless persons and as part of a community-wide strategy to address chronic homelessness.

TAC has also developed an accompanying presentation illustrating how different types of Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) waiting list preferences work when applied by Public Housing Authorities. That presentation is available here.

Finally, TAC has developed another brief titled, "Key Considerations for Service Chronically Homeless Persons in CoC-Funded Permanent Supportive House (PSH)," which offers key considerations for assessing and leveraging the services and supports that are necessary to meet the needs of chronically homeless persons.
