Ortiz Named as Commissioner of the Administration on Disabilities

On June 12, Melissa Ortiz was appointed by President Trump to serve as Commissioner of the Administration on Disabilities within the Administration for Community Living (ACL). The AoD Commissioner serves as a focal point in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support and encourage the provision of quality services and supports and implementation of programs and policies that benefit people with disabilities and their families.
