No Deadline for States in Medicaid Expansion Decision

As reported in Governing, on August 6, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Deputy Director Cindy Mann said that states do not face a deadline for deciding when and if to participate in the Medicaid expansion provided for by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Additionally, states that initially choose to participate could drop the expanded coverage at a later date. The full article is available here.
