About ANCOR

ANCOR Leadership

Nothing can happen without leadership.  ANCOR offers many opportunities for its members to get involved in ANCOR's pursuit of meeting its members ever changing needs.

ANCOR has two levels of leadership opportunities: elected and non-elected positions. The Board of Directors and the Board of Representatives are elected positions and are restricted to ANCOR's full members. The State Provider Association Executives Forum is a non-elected forum of the executive director or designee of ANCOR's State Provider Association Associate members. ANCOR offers many more non-elected leadership opportunities including committee membership, task force participation, contributing your expertise to ANCOR's LINKS publication and much more.

ANCOR is anxious to develop volunteer leaders throughout our organization.  But making this happen requires you to take the initiative and volunteer to support ANCOR in whatever format is best for you.  Take a moment to consider where you can fit into ANCOR's support team then go to the members only section and complete the "Get Involved" form.  In his book, The Fifth Discipline, Author Peter Senge says that the greatest learning takes place in dialogue between people.  We're poised and prepared to engage you in the most important dialogue of all---furthering the vision and mission of ANCOR---the premier national association representing the interests of private providers in the disabilities field.
