André Floyd

André Floyd joined ANCOR in May of 2016 as the Communications Specialist. In this role he creates, updates, and utilizes various methods of communication to service both members and non-members.

Prior to joining ANCOR André worked as the Associate Editor for a nonprofit magazine. In addition to writing features for and editing the magazine, he also became the in-house editor for all social media communications. André used the opportunity to sharpen his skills in journalism and research to produce features that enhanced the stature of the magazine as the organization’s flagship publication.

André graduated from James Madison University in May of 2005 with a BFA in Graphic Design. Before transitioning to a career in writing and communications, he has held positions ranging from co-founder of a Graphic Design team, to senior sales consultant, to IT Technician at a hospital.

As a person of varied interests and an abundance of curiosity, André’s passions are travel, world football, reading, and writing.
